Uli Hoeneß

Uli Hoeneß embodies not only half a century of FC Bayern Munich’s history, but also by far the club’s most successful period to date: Uli Hoeneß made a mark on FC Bayern Munich like no other in a range of guises – as player, manager, Board member, president and chairman of the Supervisory Board. He transformed Germany’s record-breaking champions into a global brand and achieved an array of triumphs with the Munich-based side.

Even in his early years as a manager, Uli Hoeneß was considered to be a visionary and a pioneer of ideas in the Bundesliga, above all in the TV and merchandising sector. As a club official, Hoeneß celebrated a total of 57 titles with FC Bayern’s professional players, including the Champions League, the International Cup and the FIFA Club World Cup, the UEFA Cup and 24 German championships and 14 DFB Cup victories.
