Peer Stemmler

Peer Stemmler is a German businessman. As Head of DACH, Peer has been managing the business at Zoom Video Communications since 2019. Peer is responsible for the business in Germany, Austria and Switzerland, one of the fastest growing markets for Zoom. Prior to that, Peer had been Managing Director of Webex Communications GmbH since 2003. Webex was acquired by Cisco Systems in 2007. At the time, Eric Yuan, the current CEO of Zoom, was Vice President of Engineering at Webex. Yuan founded Zoom in 2011. Zoom went public in 2019. Prior to that, Peer held senior positions at Aspentech, Baan and Marketing Systems Automotive. Jan Baan was one of Webex's largest investors before Webex went public. Peer is an honorary member of the board of directors of the Ölberg Cooperative for the preservation of historical monuments from the early days in Wuppertal.
