Melanie Kehr

Melanie Kehr has been a member of the Executive Board of KfW Bankengruppe since 2019. As CIO and COO she is responsible for Information Technology, Operations and Transaction Management. Digitalisation, innovation and the use of key technologies are among her principal activities at KfW. While studying business administration at the University of Bielefeld, where she earned her diploma in 1999, she completed a Master of Science degree in economics at Purdue University, USA, in 1998. Her professional career began in 1999 at Accenture, where she was most recently a Partner in the Capital Markets Industry division. In 2014 Melanie Kehr moved to BayernLB as Group CIO and in 2018 joined KfW Bankengruppe as Chief Representative.
