Megatrends are thematic areas that present changes and currents within the industry and guide strong tendencies in different directions.
After founding an IT company (2006) and pursuing a corporate career (2010–2016), Larissa Zeichhardt now runs the family-owned enterprise L-A-T together with her sister. The electrical installation company equips public transport with security technology and provides an analogue and digital infrastructure for track environments. As a successor, Zeichhardt manages to combine love of tradition and progress euphoria: today LAT management is paperless, supervisors work with digital clipboards and construction managers use a construction site app. As a board member of Gütegemeinschaft Leitungstiefbau she is devoted to excellent quality in broadband expansion. She is a member of the Supervisory Board of Berliner Wasserbetriebe and the Board of Trustees of the Berlin School of Economics and Law (HWR Berlin).
