Katharina Mayer

Katharina is Founder and was CEO of the Munich based Kuchentratsch GmbH. With Kuchentratsch, founded in 2014, she successfully combined social impact within a business model. In the bakery, grandmas and grandpas were able to meet and socialize while baking cakes together, follow their passionand earn money on top of their pension. 100% of the profits has been used to maintain baking places for seniors and to create new ones.

After her traineeship in hotel management Katharina graduated in business administration with a focus on social and health care management in Austria and Argentina. In 2015 she won the Munic Founder Award and holds different scholarships. On a voluntary basis Katharina works for an organization on crisis intervention. She led for example a team of doctors in Mexico giving medical help just 24h after the enormous earthquake in 2017.
