Jörg Adami

After graduating in the field of business and sports studies, the former competitive athlete in track and field, snowboarding and windsurfing gained practical experience in sales and marketing, including at the tobacco company J.T. International, Deutsche Telekom and Microsoft. In 1992, at just 22, he founded his own marketing company for the organisation of competitive events in non-traditional ‘trend sports’, which he built into a full-service agency with 53 employees. He was named a full-time board member of the Deutsche Sporthilfe foundation in March 2019. In January 2020, Adami partnered with Evangelos Papathanassiou to found the esports player foundation, the world’s first organisation of its kind dedicated to supporting e-sports.
