About the Speaker

Erik Wiegard is one of the founders and CEO of the Werner-von-Siemens Centre for Industry and Science e.V. With over 30 years of experience in mechanical engineering, product and process innovation, project management, digitalisation, and research and development, he and his team network internationally operating corporations with scientific institutions as well as SMEs and start-ups for innovation in the field of industrial transformation. During his career, the chartered mechanical engineer has led and accompanied numerous innovation projects. The Werner-von-Siemens Centre for Industry and Science e.V. focuses on research and qualification in the areas of production, mobility and energy transition.
