Dr. Michael Fübi

Dr Michael Fübi has been Chairman of the Management Board of TÜV Rheinland AG since 2015. After earning a PhD in engineering he began his professional career at Babcock Borsig in 1995. In 1998 he became Spokesman of the Board of Directors of the WABAG Group within the corporation and subsequently held leading positions at Babcock Borsig. In 2002 he switched to the RWE Group, where he was in charge of the Climate Protection unit of RWE Power for four years, among other responsibilities, before being appointed to the Management Board of RWE Technology in 2010. Initially serving as Chief Technical Officer, he assumed the position of Chief Executive Officer in 2012. Since 2018 he has been President of the TIC Council, the new international association of the testing, inspection and certification companies. He is also a member of the Presidential Board of the TÜV Association.
