About the Speaker
Dr Jens Baas has been Chairman of the Board of Directors of Techniker Krankenkasse (TK) since 2012. He oversees Brand/Marketing, Business Development, Finance/Controlling, Information Technology, Politics/Communications and the Administrative Board/Board of Directors. With more than 11 million people insured, TK is Germany’s largest statutory health insurance company. Previously Dr Baas worked for the Boston Consulting Group, most recently as a Partner and Managing Director. He studied human medicine at the University of Heidelberg and the University of Minnesota (USA). After earning his degree, he worked in the surgical department of the university hospitals of Heidelberg and Münster.
