Dr. Daniel Holz

Dr Daniel Holz has been Regional Vice President EMEA North for Google Cloud since October 2020. He oversees the ongoing development of customer-centric solutions and services in Germany, Austria, Switzerland, Sweden, Finland, Norway and Central Europe. Previously Daniel Holz spent 12 years at SAP, most recently as Managing Director of SAP Germany. Prior to that, he held several senior leadership positions in Europe and the emerging markets, including those of Senior Vice President of Discrete Manufacturing & Automotive, Managing Director of SAP Turkey, Chief Operating Officer for EMEA South as well as Head of the Sales Department at SAP Russia. Daniel Holz received a doctorate in business administration from the Vienna University of Economics and Business after also studying at Goethe University in Frankfurt, Germany, and the Massachusetts Institute of Technology – Sloan School of Management, Boston. Throughout his 25+ years of experience in software solutions, he gained profound expertise in strategic sales excellence, organisational transformation and hybrid cloud and on-premise architectures.
