About the Speaker
Daniel Brand is founder and CEO of AWATREE GmbH, which developed the first smart city system to save urban trees. He is a passionate entrepreneur and graduate engineer with more than 25 years of expertise in the field of communicative systems. He has been working in the IoT and Smart City environment for more than 15 years and wrote more than 20 international patents in this field. As a tech enthusiast as well as a nature and tree lover, he is now focusing with the StartUp AWATREE, on a most efficient, digital and sustainable solution to protect urban trees from the consequences of climate change.
