About the Speaker

Christian Richert is CEO of EDD Engineering & Digital Design, a leading group of companies in the field of structural design. For 18 years, he has been actively promoting the practical use of digital methods and the exploitation of technical possibilities in an industry that is generally not very digitalised. In its own group, EDD focuses on a high standard in Building Information Modelling (BIM) and develops parametric and automated planning processes up to the use of AI in order to meet the major challenges of the industry. Christian Richert holds a degree in engineering, studied at RWTH Aachen University and for 15 years worked as a structural engineer in the project business at IDK Kleinjohann.
