After holding various management positions at Siemens, IBM, IDS Scheer and SAP, Dr. Abolhassan has been working for Deutsche Telekom since 2008.

Initially, he was a member of the Management Board for the corporate customer division T-Systems. There, he most recently headed the IT division and was also responsible for the establishment of Telekom Security. In 2016, he became member of the Management Board of Telekom Deutschland GmbH and was responsible for the Sales & Customer Service division with around 30,000 employees.

Since January 1, 2024, Ferri Abolhassan has been Member of the Board of Management of Deutsche Telekom AG and CEO of T-Systems with around 26,000 employees.

About the speaker

Ferri Abolhassan was born in Saarbrücken and holds a PhD in Computer Science from Saarland University.

He is an honorary chairman of the supervisory board of the German Research Center for Artificial Intelligence (DFKI), a member of Atlantik-Brücke and the board of trustees of the Max Planck Institute for Informatics as well as a member of the main board of Bitkom e.V. He is also a member of the Saarland Digitization Council and an official Saarland ambassador.

He has been a fan of FC Bayern Munich since childhood. As a former triathlete, he still runs every day to keep fit for his job.
